Getting Sars

Sars can only be transmitted through close contact or contact of body fluids. Close contact does not mean sitting across a room from a sick person for a few minutes. Close contact would be considered: kissing, sharing eating utensils, or anything like that. You can also get SARS through respiratory droplets caused by coughing or Sneezing. Respiratory droplets are droplets of mucus or salvia shot out of your mouth or nose.

    1. Coughing will allow respiratory droplets to leave your body which could contaminate objects or infect people.
